    Description: Software tuning / ECU Tune for 1.8T 150 and 180 hp on KKK K04-001/K06 (60>46.5 ) turbocharger 
    Audi, Seat, Skoda, VW e.g. A3, Seat Leon, VW Golf4 1.8T.
    For vehicles with ME7 control unit, vehicles with electronic throttle.
    Power output to approx. 260 - 280 hp
    Installed components:
    KKK K04-001/K06 turbocharger, 380cc fuel injectors, 80mm mass airflow sensor, 76mm downpipe with 200-cell racing catalytic converter, upgraded intercooler or large intercooler kit, intake hose.
    The control unit must be sent to us.
    With on-site tuning, output of up to 280 hp can be achieved.
    If the control unit is sent in, a maximum of 260 hp is possible.
     
    Procedure:
    - You must send us your control unit. After the control unit has arrived with us, it takes approx. 2 working days until it is sent back to you. Shipping then takes approx. 1-3 days to you.- Please specify which parts you have installed, i.e. which parts were replaced compared to the original ones. Either write an email or enclose a note with the control unit.

    Note on basic tuning

    Since we cannot inspect the vehicle technically in advance or measure it on a dynamometer, the software is based on our extensive experience and dynamometer knowledge from comparable vehicle setups.

    We rely on numerous proven and reliably functioning mappings that were specifically tuned to similar combinations of turbocharger, fuel injectors, mass airflow sensor and other hardware.

    The supplied base application serves to ensure that the vehicle can be operated reliably with the modifications made.

    IMPORTANT:
    This software is expressly not intended for continuous full-load driving, track operation or extreme stress.

    For maximum performance, perfect drivability and highest operational reliability, we generally recommend individual custom tuning on a dynamometer. Only there can the software be adjusted exactly to the actual condition and mechanical circumstances of the engine.

    For safety reasons, our basic tunes deliberately run slightly richer than the stock tune. This prevents the engine from running too lean under load and thereby causing damage.


    Notes in case of problems after installation

    Should problems occur after installing the modified control unit, we are of course available by phone to find a solution together with you.

    Please note, however:

    • Remote fault diagnosis is not always fully possible
    • In certain cases, the vehicle must be checked directly on site
    • The technical inspection and possible rework are carried out in cooperation with a dynamometer partner in the Bremen area
    • There, vehicle, hardware and software can be professionally analyzed and tuned

    ATTENTION:
    As part of statutory rectification attempts, we expressly refer to the technical inspection on the dynamometer of CCT Motorsport GmbH. Only there can conversions be properly checked and necessary adjustments be carried out reliably.

    Anyone who exceeds a certain power level with the 1.8T engine will quickly reach the limits of physics with the original sensors and valves. To avoid incorrect measurements and power loss, we recommend these two essential upgrades to our customers:

    • 1) 80mm mass airflow sensor upgrade (Article 280128) From an output of approx. 230+ hp the original MAF housing reaches saturation. The result: The control unit receives incorrect measurements and can no longer calculate the mixture cleanly. The enlarged 80mm housing ensures optimal flow and exact values even at high boost pressure.

    • 2) Performance pulse valve / control valve N75 (Article 160200) The original OEM boost control valve is often too weak for higher boost pressures. It tends to regulate imprecisely, which leads to boost pressure drops and noticeable power loss. Our performance valve works extremely quickly and stably – the perfect choice for your electronic boost controller and consistent boost pressure build-up.
