    The following components must be installed:   1x Borgwarner upgrade turbocharger KKK K04-015 K06 for Audi A4, A6 1.8T, Passat 1.8T    4x fuel injector Bosch 470cc at 3 bar EV6 for VR6 16v Turbo  1x silicone intake hose for Audi A4, A6 Passat 1.8T B5 + B6  150 hp blue or black  1x Racing Cat Sport Cat 200-CPI cat for Audi A4 B5 B6 8E A6 1.8T Passat 3b+BG plug&pl  1x turbo exhaust manifold 1.8T A4 A6 Passat K03 upgrade slotted turbo exhaust manifold cast exhaust manifold  1x front intercooler for Audi A4 A6 1.8T B5 VW Passat 3B FMIC intercooler  1x Downpipe for Audi A4 A6 1.8T 5B, Passat 1.8T 3B 3BG ø 63mm 2.5" stainless steel, 80mm mass air flow sensor 
    The control unit must be sent to us.
     
    Procedure:
    - You must send us your control unit. Once the control unit has arrived with us, it takes approx. 2 business days until it is shipped back to you. Shipping then takes approx. 1-3 days to you.- Please specify which parts you have installed, i.e. which parts were replaced compared to the original parts. Either write an email or include a note with the control unit.
     

    Note on basic tuning

    Since we cannot inspect the vehicle technically in advance or measure it on a dynamometer, the software is based on our extensive experience and dyno knowledge from comparable vehicle setups.

    We rely on numerous proven and reliably functioning mappings that were specially tuned to similar combinations of turbocharger, injectors, mass air flow sensor and other hardware.

    The supplied basic application is intended to ensure that the vehicle can be operated reliably with the changes made.

    IMPORTANT:
    This software is expressly not intended for permanent full-load driving, racetrack operation or extreme loads.

    For maximum performance, perfect drivability and highest operational reliability, we generally recommend an individual custom tune on a dynamometer. Only there can the software be adjusted exactly to the actual condition and the mechanical circumstances of the engine.

    For safety reasons, our basic tunes deliberately run slightly richer than the stock tune. This prevents the engine from running too lean under load and causing damage as a result.


    Notes in case of problems after installation

    Should problems occur after installation of the modified control unit, we are of course available by phone to find a solution together with you.

    Please note, however:

    • Remote fault diagnosis is not always fully possible
    • In certain cases the vehicle must be checked directly on site
    • The technical inspection and possible rework are carried out in cooperation with a dynamometer partner in the Bremen area
    • There the vehicle, hardware and software can be professionally analyzed and tuned

    ATTENTION:
    Within the scope of statutory rectification attempts, we expressly refer to the technical inspection on the dynamometer at CCT Motorsport GmbH. Only there can modifications be professionally checked and necessary adjustments carried out reliably.

    Anyone who exceeds a certain power level on the 1.8T engine will quickly reach the limits of physics with the original sensors and valves. To avoid incorrect measurements and power loss, we recommend these two essential upgrades to our customers:

    • 1) Upgrade mass air flow sensor 80mm (Item 280128) From an output of approx. 230+ hp the original MAF housing reaches saturation. The result: The control unit receives incorrect measurements and can no longer calculate the mixture cleanly. The enlarged 80mm housing ensures optimal flow and exact values even at high boost pressure.

    • 2) Performance pulse valve / control valve N75 (Item 160200) The original OEM boost control valve is often too weak for higher boost pressures. It tends to regulate imprecisely, which leads to boost pressure drops and noticeable power loss. Our performance valve works extremely quickly and stably – the perfect choice for your electronic boost controller and constant boost pressure build-up.
