Anyone looking for the optimal turbocharging solution when designing a custom turbo project or engine conversion is often faced with a confusing array of vehicle-specific components. Universal turbochargers offer the most technically flexible solution here: They are designed to be manufacturer-independent and can be combined with different vehicle types via standardized mechanical interfaces.
At Turbo-parts.de, you’ll find a carefully curated selection of universal turbochargers that combine maximum compatibility and reliability. In addition to our universal systems, we of course continue to stock precision-fit replacement turbochargers for production vehicles directly from our warehouse.
The universal turbochargers from our own brand, “Turbo-parts,” were specifically developed for the demanding tuning and motorsports sectors. Our design principle is based on a clear technological approach:
Reliable mass-production technology: We use proven, mass-production-tested architectures as the mechanical basis for the housing structures and core components. This guarantees high dimensional accuracy and consistent material quality.
Reinforced tuning CHRA / core assemblies: The core of our turbochargers undergoes significant modifications. We integrate specially reinforced core assemblies (CHRA) that are designed to withstand higher thermal and mechanical stresses than standard production components.
Excellent durability with optimal value for money: Thanks to this combination, Turbo-parts universal turbochargers offer extremely high durability at boost pressures beyond stock levels—and all at a highly cost-effective price-performance ratio.
Every universal turbocharger in our product line is delivered ready for installation, including the necessary gaskets for the oil supply and oil return lines, as well as the appropriate mounting flange (e.g., T25, T3, T4, or V-band) to ensure a completely gas-tight connection.
Depending on the selected specification, our turbochargers are equipped with a 360° racing-grade axial bearing unit. In direct comparison to conventional 270° bearings, this system completely encloses the shaft. This absorbs axial thrust forces—especially during abrupt load changes and high boost pressure—much more effectively. Thermal friction is reduced, resulting in faster transient response and a significantly extended service life for the entire system.
For complete system integration, we carry all necessary replacement and tuning parts in our usual high-quality materials:
Blow-Off Valves (BOV): Blow-off valves relieve pressure on the compressor side during coasting (when the throttle valve closes). They prevent the compressor housing from decelerating abruptly against the air column, which protects the turbocharger and minimizes turbo lag when accelerating again.
Intercooler piping: Matching silicone hoses and reducers ensure pressure-resistant delivery of the fresh air mass to the intercooler.
